Auckland War Memorial Museum is New Zealands first museum. Established in 1852 in a two-room farm cottage in the central Auckland suburb of Grafton, Auckland Museum is recognised as holding nationally and internationally significant collections.
Housed in Parnell’s historic Jubilee Building, the former home of the Blind Foundation. As part of the Foundation Precinct we share our home with the local community centre, and the popular Parnell Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings.
The Rotary Club of Parnell Inc has a reputation as an effective and fun Rotary club. Our membership is drawn from a variety of occupations and each member brings a high level of energy and commitment to achieving the goals of the club.
